At Inner Bliss Kids Yoga, our mission is to empower and inspire children to discover their own inner strength, develop their self-confidence and create their own sense of calm.
Our classes include breathing exercises, yoga poses, yoga games, art, music and relaxation activities, where children are encouraged to express their creativity, have fun, make friends and enjoy the experience of yoga. At the same time, children are developing their physical strength, flexibility, stamina, co-ordination and balance.
Children also learn how they can use simple yoga and mindfulness techniques on those days when they may be feeling a little frustrated, overwhelmed, nervous or anxious about events or situations in their lives.

About Vanessa - Inner Bliss Kids Yoga Teacher and Owner
Along with her formal yoga teaching qualifications, Vanessa holds two University Degrees in Education as well as an Associate Diploma of Social Science (Child Studies). Her 21 years’ experience as a Primary School Teacher has seen her work closely with children of all ages, with a particular specialisation in the area of learning support and intervention. Vanessa has a thorough knowledge and understanding of yoga principles and philosophies as she is also a fully qualified Level 1 350hr Yoga Teacher and Specialised Children’s Yoga Teacher. Inner Bliss Kids Yoga is also supported by the following professional associations and bodies - International Institute and Complementary Therapists (IICT) and the My Health Association.
We are also a registered ‘Active Kids’ Voucher provider. This entitles you up to $100 off your enrolment into Inner Bliss Kids Yoga per
child per calendar year.
Classes and Timetable
Our lessons are designed so that each child can gain a sense of calm, peace and relaxation in their daily busy lives as well as learn vital life skills of how to live with kindness and compassion to all.
5 - 8 Year Old Classes (8 week term)
Our active 5-8 year old classes are filled with fun, laughter and creativity. Storytelling and yoga games help children to learn how to make friends, work positively with others, as well as increase their concentration, focus, perseverance and resilience.
9 - 12 Year Old Classes (8 week term)
Our 9-12 year old classes take children on a journey of yoga that is more like an adult class but still with the element of yoga games, fun and laughter.
These classes have a greater focus on yoga poses, posture and alignment, which is helpful for children’s developing stamina, body awareness, concentration
and co-ordination skills.
